Safety shields for flanges or flange guards produced by Powerz act as protective barrier for flanges, pipes and fittings. PTFE-coated fiberglass has high resistance to almost all the aggressive chemicals such as acids, alkalis, solvents, fuel and lubricants, oils. This protection function is highly required by pipelines that transport aggressive media.
Preventing of spray-outs and resulted operation safety define the most important advantage of safety PTFE-shields for flanges. During the operation the safety shield enables quick access to the flange for its inspection or service.
Qualities and advantages of safety shields/flange guards:
• Material: ElatexFtor (fluoroplastic-coated fiberglass/coated with PTFE/ glass-reinforced teflon). Depending on operating conditions and media the fabric for safety shield can be coated with silicon
• Size range: DN10 - DN2000
• Pressure: 0,6 - 200 bar
• Temperature range: from -60 °C to + 300°C
