SEALING AIR DAMPERS

Sealing air dampers are designed to cut off air-gas flow in both internal and external insulated gas ducts. Sealing air dampers are no less than 99% tight when the flaps are closed. The seal air system makes the damper 100% gastight. The dampers may be installed paired or as individual units. In the "closed" position of damper, the pressure tightness is ensured by a tight fit between the flap and the dead stops of the damper’s body, as well as by the seal air pumping into the double flaps’ intermediate space. Owing to this, the Powerz sealing air dampers are featured with small dimensions.

Depending on the medium temperature, such dampers are featured in the following design versions:

- made of carbon steel for operating temperature up to 425 °C
- made of stainless steel for operating temperature up to 610°С
- made of stainless steel for operating temperature up to 900°С
