The Powerz manufactured lens expansion joints are designed to compensate the thermal elongations of round and rectangular cross-section air and gas ducts and round cross-section water and steam pipelines of thermal power plants and other industrial plants with flue gases emission or water heating processes. Powerz is a modern machine-building enterprise equipped with all kinds of state-of-the-art machinery for metal procession. Owing to this we produce high-quality boiler equipment.
On customer's request, we supply the lens compensators made of various constructional and stainless steels depending on the climatic region, the working media parameters and the operating performance of pipelines. Optionally, on customer's request, we equip the compensators with protective devices in the form of a glass or a sleeve to protect the lense material from abrasive wear, and provide an external protective casing to protect the lens compensator from outer mechanical impacts in operation. To drain the condensate from the lower part of the lenses, the compensators may be optionally equipped with drainage tubes. For ease of transportation and installation, the lens compensators are fitted with the tightening devices (the ties). Either “Weld fastening” or “Flange fastening” mounting options are provided. Powerz’ own design department and production shop develop and manufacture the lens compensators which meet all the customer's requirements for achieving high service life.

The round cross-section lens compensators are designed for installation in round cross-section air and gas ducts with a pressure of up to 0.02 MPa, in accordance with the dimensions specified in the technical documentation. Round cross-section lens compensators are manufactured in accordance with standard technical documentation listed below. Upon the customer’s request and drawings, we are ready to design and manufacture the non-standard round cross-section lens compensators.
Rectangular cross-section lens compensators are designed for use in the dust, air and gas ducts with rectangular cross-section. Rectangular cross-section lens compensators are manufactured in accordance with standard technical documentation listed below. Upon the customer’s request and drawings, we are ready to design and manufacture the non-standard rectangular cross-section lens compensators.
Powerz lens compensators
The lens axial compensators have flow sections from DN100 to DN2200 mm. They are designed to compensate solely the axial thermal elongations of pipelines handling the non-aggressive or the slightly aggressive media under a nominal pressure PN up to 1.6 MPa (16 kgf / cm2) and a temperature up to 300 °C (for DN ≤ 400 mm the permissible temperature is up to 425 °C).
